Great for: Faultless attention to detail and an unbeatable city view.
I have to say, I was not expecting what I found on arriving at the Grand Hyatt, Kuala Lumpur. When they say grand, they really mean grand, in both size and attitude. With the personalised, “Good evening, Ms. Tomelty” from none other than the valet as we peel ourselves off the car’s leather seats after an arduous day of travel, the attention to detail is already above average before we even make it to check-in.Contiune Reading...GRAND HYATT

An evening arrival could not be more fitting for Phuket resort, Twinpalms. A gorgeous, open foyer with a peaked roof greets you at the entrance and so begins the beginning of what I can guarantee will be a memorable stay at this Small Luxury Hotel of the World. Low-lit lighting works in absolute synergy with the beautiful design, all wood and warmth – perfect for the tropics. In what seems to always be the case in Thailand, the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and this is evident straight off the bat. They ask us to rest on one of the comfortable seats in the foyer before bringing us a complementary welcome cocktail… they had me at “hello”, and yet to top it all off we find out they have upgraded us… I’m never leaving.Contiune Reading...TWINPALMS
A one-of-a-kind destination. The Racha is on the small island of Koh Racha Yai, one of the Andaman Seas’s most beautiful islands and is accessibly only by sea – a James Bond-esque 30 minute speedboat trip from Phuket, arranged by the resort and exclusive to Racha guests. Before you even make it to the boat, though, you are off to a luxurious start during the check-in process at Krabi. You are welcomed by Racha staff, and asked to select your favourite from three beautiful fragrances, which will become the scent that will be used in all of the bathroom products in your room at The Racha…Contiune Reading...THE RACHA
